Our Qualifications to Serve You Isis was founded on the belief that there was a need for specialist services to the insurance industry in the current environment. The industry is struggling to create value added customer service and the means to deliver it effectively and efficiently; an important part of this process is identifying and dealing with potential problems and unprofitable situations arising from past activities or proposed courses of action. The principal members of Isis, Henry Sopher and Ann Duffy acquired their experience in the auditing and legal professions respectively, sharpened by working as directors in the service arm of a large underwriting organization. We have worked with a broad range of industry players - insurers in the US, Lloyd's, London and Bermuda markets, brokers, attorneys, investment houses and regulators. The principals have been involved in the acquisition of two major London Market companies in orderly run off, providing exit for vendors who wished to focus on core business. The experience gained through managing these acquisitions gives us a unique perspective and a transferable knowledge and skill base, which we have applied successfully for our own business interests and clients. We have looked at transactions from the perspective of providing exit solutions and run off services, and have been involved in evaluating transactions for major investors. Our approach to any assignment we undertake is to gain an understanding of your needs and develop results-oriented procedures to meet them. Very often, this requires a synthesis of the appropriate disciplines: actuarial, claims, financial legal and underwriting. We have worked very effectively in teams to obtain the best of their specialist skills, both as individuals and part of the team. While each assignment we undertake is different, our objective is to develop and maintain our relationships by caring about our clients' business - this translates into delivering the highest level of personal service and creating value through our involvement.
